On January 25, 2019 to February 7, 2019 The #flipflopi, first ever boat made from recycled plastic waste collected from the shores of the Indian Ocean in Kenya successfully sailed from Lamu to Zanzibar Tanzania on a mission to create awareness on marine pollution, I was on-board,and I absolutely loved it.

Along the 500km journey, thousands of people were reached and many hotels committed to use less single-use plastic. We all have an obligation to stop plastic pollution everywhere, lets do our part to conserve our environment, it’s our home.

Next year the boat is sailing Lake Victoria in Kenya. Hit this link to support this amazing project http://theflipflopi.com/lake-victoria-2020?fbclid=IwAR2Hbk9Z8NcvVkmFdagvmatQ4iBSPjXG0iZlXF4Qzx4KqfZbf65z3QE0LII
